Dave Gallerizzo, Partner, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dave's primary focus at Fig Leaf Software is the growth and development of the company. In his role as CEO, Dave is responsible for guiding Fig Leaf Software's resources and innovative spirit towards developing the best web solutions to meet the client's business needs.
Dave was the first person outside of Google (GOOG), to become a Certified Google Enterprise Trainer and has trained customers and partners around the world on the Google Search Appliance, Google Mini and Google Apps.
As an Adobe Certified Master Instructor and developer with 14 years of experience, Dave brings to the leadership team a deep understanding of solutions development, technology, and entrepreneurial strength. Prior to joining Fig Leaf Software in 1997, Dave designed and implemented custom client-server software for the Washington area trade associations. Dave holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Maryland at College Park.
In addition to Dave's role as CEO of Fig Leaf Software, Dave is also an officer serving in the United States Marine Corps with over 23 years of consecutive service.

Dave Watts, Co-Founder, Partner, Chief Technical Officer Dave founded Fig Leaf Software with Steve Drucker in 1992, and shares Steve’s vision of Fig Leaf Software as a world-class development and training company. As Chief Technology Officer, Dave Watts drives the technology vision and enhances Fig Leaf's competitive edge by developing the company's best practices, covering server configuration, performance tuning, application development, and application deployment.
Recognized as a leading technology expert by Google and Adobe, Dave has been developing browser-based applications with ColdFusion since version 1.5 and implementing Google Enterprise solutions since 2005. He coauthored the best-selling ColdFusion book, The ColdFusion Web Application Construction Kit, first and second editions with Steve Drucker and Ben Forta. Along with Steve Drucker, Dave co-founded the first ColdFusion Users’ Group in Washington, DC. He has been the most prolific poster on the CF-Talk mailing list for the last several years, having answered several thousand questions on ColdFusion and related topics. He regularly speaks at industry events, such as Adobe MAX, and writes articles for various trade publications. As one of the first Adobe certified instructors, Dave combines exceptional teaching with course development. He received a perfect score on his ColdFusion MX Certification, and regularly pursues new certifications in other areas of interest. Dave was the second person ever to be Certified by Google, Inc. as a Google Enterprise Professional Certified Trainer for the Google Search Appliance, Google Mini and Google Apps.
When not developing or teaching for Fig Leaf Software, Dave enjoys playing with new gadgets and technologies. In addition, he has served as an expert witness on IT and internet issues in Maryland’s civil court system.

Steve Drucker, Co-Founder, Partner, President As President, Steve directs the training division and evaluates third-party COTS solutions for robustness and their applicability to Fig Leaf’s client base. Recognized as a web applications industry expert, Steve continues to make significant contributions to the Internet community. He co-authored bestselling book The ColdFusion Web Application Construction Kit, founded the first ColdFusion Users Group (CFUG), developed training curricula for Adobe and Paperthin inc, and has authored numerous articles focusing on scalability and advanced web development technologies for the ColdFusion Developers Journal. Steve is also a Certified Adobe Master Instructor for Dreamweaver, Flash, ColdFusion, and Adobe Connect. More recently, Steve became an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) for Acrobat and holds a Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+) credential. Steve is the Author of the official JackBe Presto Training Course. He has been a featured speaker at numerous industry trade shows, including Adobe MAX. His last major development project was serving as lead architect and developer for the relaunch of the Voice of America (www.voanews.com) -- 44 web sites in 44 languages supporting nearly a half a million content items with hundreds added daily. Current areas of interest include Search Engine Optimization (SEO), document management and office automation with Acrobat LiveCycle Designer, and developing "rich internet applications" using AJAX and Adobe FLEX.
Before Fig Leaf Software, Steve was a C and Microsoft Foxpro programmer, developing the first nationally distributed commercial real-estate listings database and the first windows-based client-server interface to the Virginia Multiple Listings Service (MLS). Steve holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
Steve credits his late grandparents for much of his inspiration -- they owned and managed a series of grocery stores throughout the District of Columbia from the 1930's through the 1960's.

Bret Peters, Partner, Vice President, Sales & Marketing Bret joined Fig Leaf Software in 1998, bringing significant sales, marketing and management experience to the Fig Leaf team. In his career with Fig Leaf, Bret has lead the company to multiple consecutive years as the leading Google and Adobe Certified Training Partner and Value Added Reseller (VAR). Playing an integral role in building product, consulting and training sales, Bret has developed and continues to successfully maintain relationships with our key partners, Adobe (ADBE), Google (GOOG), Brightcove, Websense (WBSN), Sitecore and PaperThin.
Bret served on the Macromedia User Group Advisory Board and has been responsible for organizing and marketing a half dozen technology user groups including the wildly popular Washington, DC Adobe User Group, the DC Google Technology User Group (DC GTUG), and the DC Brightcove User Group (Click here to access user group details).
Prior to joining Fig Leaf Software, Bret sold web development and internet connectivity services for PSINet. Before his involvement with technology, Bret worked in the insurance and gourmet food industries. Bret helped establish Fresh Fields Markets (later purchased by Whole Foods Markets) as a premier retailer - named Money Magazine Retailer of the Year in 1993. Bret holds a BS in Administration of Justice from George Mason University.
