Booz & Company offers clients the opportunity to identify and improve their Organizational DNA through a facilitated one-day workshop for senior management. Using the Org DNA Profiler^® as a starting point, top executives, business unit heads, and staff leaders (from ten to one hundred or more) come together at an off-site location to identify the impediments to superior performance in their organization and develop sustainable programs and processes to overcome them.

Booz Allen Hamilton Org DNA consultants were engaged in time consuming work processes including manually producing Power Point presentations for their corporate clients based on Org DNA Profiler survey data. They desired a way to automate their business processes to reduce staff time and serve their clients in a more efficient manner.

Fig Leaf Software created a functional specification and designed the architecture for an application that now allows BAH to automatically produce Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel pivot table files from data collected via their Org DNA Profiler web-based survey application. The integrated system enables authorized users to query and filter collected data to ultimately produce distinct versions of the files for individual clients.

The system was developed on Fig Leaf Software's web and database servers using Adobe ColdFusion and Microsoft's SQL Server. In addition, Fig Leaf Software used two third party JAVA libraries to produce the PowerPoint and Excel files.

Following development, Fig Leaf integrated the system into the current BAH network and provided testing and quality assurance to ensure that it would work with the existing Org DNA Profiler.

The new system created by Fig Leaf Software enables Booz Allen Hamilton Org DNA consultants to filter benchmard and client data sets to produce a Microsoft PowerPoint or Microsoft Excel file. The new system automates what was a laborious manual process thereby saving staff time and improving data accuracy. The new easy to use system interfaces directly wth the Org DNA Profiler so authenticated users now have access to this improved functionality directly from the Profiler.
