IADB Public Site

The IADB hired Fig Leaf Software to provide a ColdFusion programming solution that allows for access and content management on the IDB America Web site while still allowing IADB web staff to utilize Adobe Dreamweaver and Flash.

Following a detailed specification phase, Fig Leaf created a custom CMS solution to allow for a multi-publishing workflow (magazine and web).

The CMS system has the following features:

  • Levels of Access - Contributor and Administrative access
  • Multiple User Roles - Contributors, Content Approvers, Translators, Quality Control, Editors
  • Advanced Search Capabilities including integrated search for PDF archives
  • Text-only and printer friendly, send to a friend, reader comment capabilities
  • Keyword / Taxonomy database to control headlines, lead stories and photos
  • Polling and Surveys

Fig Leaf delivered the new content management application on-time and on-budget.  The new Magazine site enables visitors to read news in their chosen language:

  • English
  • Spanish
  • Portuguse
  • French

Visitors can read in-depth articles and news by topic area (education, environment, energy, arts & culture, etc.), can search the archives for past articles, sign-up to receive monthly email headlines and more.
