Fig Leaf worked closely with the Military.com team to acquire the Google Search Appliances, install and configure the devices and implement the overall search experience using XSLT and custom security. Fig Leaf Software implemented standard crawling of the customer's environment and forumulated custom code to feed content into the appliance from a a variety of different sources.  In addition, Fig Leaf set up a set of database crawls, and configured interfaces for the various specialized searches such as the Veterans Search, Shock and Awe, and Friend-Finder.

The Military.com technical team was very talented and after taking Fig Leaf's Certified Google Search Appliance training (http://training.figleaf.com) the members of the team were able to work closely with Dave Gallerizzo, our Certified Google Enterprise Trainer and an officer of the US Marine Corps, Reserve. Dave had a vested interest in helping this customer go live with the Google Search Appliance and now visitors can search across hundreds of thousands of articles, videos, and records on Military.com quickly and easily.
