Sevin Rosen Funds hired Fig Leaf to enhance and support their ColdFusion based Content Management System (CMS), CommonSpot.  Fig Leaf is an expert in CommonSpot development having deployed CommonSpot for more than 100 customers.  Sevin Rosen Funds is an entrepreneur-centric Venture Capital firm with a track record of founding market leaders.  Early on, the firm helped establish Compaq Computer Corporation. In 1983, when the Compaq Portable PC was released it revolutionized the personal computer industry. Sevin Rosen Funds has also played a key role in with other early leaders in computing by funding companies.  Among the firms successful initial public offerings are Electronic Arts, Lotus Development Corporation, SGI, Citrix and Cypress Semiconductor.

Fig Leaf has supported Sevin Rosen Funds by creating a bulk PDF loader for loading large numbers of PDF files into the CommonSpot CMS.  For each document uploaded and placed the uploaded document has a link on a newly created page or an associated page.  Fig Leaf created an administrative page to allow web editors to slect a directory where they have placed a number fo PDF files and denote the sub-site where the files will be uploaded.  The system uses a unique code in the PDF filename to check to see if the page exists on which a link to the uploaded file can be created.   If it does, a link is added to the page and if it does not a page is dynamically created and a link for the new uploaded file is placed on the new page.  Appropriate security is placed on the document based on the where in the site the content is placed.

Fig Leaf continues to support this client with ColdFusion and CommonSpot upgrades and other projects as needed.
