Resources for the Future (RFF) is a non-profit and non-partisan think tank located in Washington, DC.  RFF conducts independent research, rooted primarily in economics and other social sciences, on environmental and natural resource issues.  RFF engaged Fig Leaf Software to provide the organization with a new design and to seek suggestions for managing a large volume of Web content, including research and presentations.

Fig Leaf began work with RFF by holding a detailed creative session.  The Fig Leaf and RFF team decided to focus the redesign on creating a clean design and easy to use public interface.  Fig Leaf recommended the CommonSpot Content Server as the CMS that would best fit the organizations requirements.  CommonSpot allows non-technical content contributors to easily add, edit and manage content without relying heavily on IT.  The selection of CommonSpot also allowed Fig Leaf to integrate the proprietary RFF database in with the public Web site so that users would be able to access the library of research information that RFF had compiled.

RFF launched the new site to rave reviews.  Visitors are able to easily navigate the site and quickly find information through a variety of methods, including a robust search engine, left hand navigation, or by using the "Quick Links" to locate informion either by Research Topic or by Reseacher.
