Graphic Designer
Candidates for this position would be required to have skills that encompass all aspects of web design with regards to Web sites and Web applications.  Candidates may be required to act as the lead in design projects, including, but not limited to, creating meeting agendas, leading creative sessions, creating documentation based on meeting information, creating site maps and wireframes for application interfaces and web sites, setting up equipment for meetings, creating designs for interfaces and web sites, creating HTML/CSS/Flash assets based on those designs, interacting with clients and team-members.  Fig Leaf Software is a fast paced environment where designers are in charge of their own projects and work in conjunction with our Creative Director.  

Senior Project Managers
Fig Leaf Software is currently has open positions for senior project managers.  Candidates must have a technical background and should have a B.S. in Computer Science or related discipline.

Senior Software Developers
Fig Leaf Software is currently has open positions for senior ColdFusion, .Net, Adobe Flex and Adobe LiveCycle Developers. Candidates must have a B.S. in Computer Science or related discipline.

Candidates for this position would be required to have a wide range of skills, as well as the ability to learn new technologies, skills and techniques independently and quickly. The position requires a vast skill set; from helpdesk type support (for Content Management System) to software installation/configuration to application development and all areas in between.  Candidates may be required to act as technical lead on some projects, including, but not limited to, development, testing, staging, and production environment set-up and configuration.  Candidates will also be responsible for troubleshooting and optimizing current and future environments as well as integrating new technologies or environments into existing ones. Our client is a faced paced environment where systems engineers are in charge of their own projects. Candidates would be required to provide time estimates for work, status updates, and deliverables to the client. Candidates will be responsible for on-time delivery, as well as learning new technologies and tools, should the need arise.

Candidates should expect to work on projects using many tools and technologies, including but not limited to, ColdFusion, JRun, JBoss, Apache Web Server, Apache ANT, T-SQL, XML, .Net, Flash, Flex, and others. This position requires an individual that has a strong systems background, experience developing Web applications, excellent problem-solving skills, and strong leadership qualities. Candidates should also expect to have direct contact with clients regarding technical issues, statuses, and deliverables, thus strong interpersonal skills are also a must. Specification writing skills are a plus.

Candidate must pass background and drug screen.  Candidates must be a US Citizen or have a valid Green Card.

Recommended Education:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field from an accredited college or university.

Candidates should have significant experience with the following:

Project /Practice Management
•    Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
•    Identifies resources needed and assigns responsibilities.
•    Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
•    Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
•    Effectively applies Fig Leaf Software methodology and enforces project standards.
•    Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
•    Minimizes Fig Leaf Software exposure and risk on project.
•    Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

Project Accounting
•    Tracks and monitors team hours and expenses on a weekly basis.
•    Manages project budget.
•    Determines appropriate revenue recognition, ensures timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for project.
•    Follows up with clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices.
•    Analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization.

Financial Management
•    Understands basic revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections and makes decisions accordingly.
•    Understands Fig Leaf Software pricing model and billing procedures.
•    Accurately forecasts revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates and utilization.
•    Assures project legal documents are completed and signed.

Business Development
•    Identifies business development and "add-on" sales opportunities as they relate to a specific project.
•    Participates with proposal efforts including completing project scoping and LOE assessments.
•    Effectively conveys Fig Leaf Software point of view and message in both written and verbal business development discussions.

Communication
•    Facilitates team and client meetings effectively.
